Rural Areas
Planning Policy Statement 7 (PPS7) sets out the Government's

the fringes of larger urban areas.
This replaces Planning Policy Guidance 7: The
Countryside - Environmental Quality and Economic and Social
Development (PPG7) published in February 1997.
